Hi everyone! Please be sure to read the update below from earlier today in addition to the new information for this week:
August 17-The Band Boosters will be having our meeting, moving things into the stand, and giving a little bit of info on how each part of the concession stand works. Concessions are a big money maker for the band, especially if we have lots of help during games. The more people we have working, the smoother concessions run, and the more sales we make. Also, if every family in the band program works one shift the amount of work is very minimal and will not require a huge time committment. It truly takes a village to have a successful band program. Thank you very much in advance!
August 18-Mrs. Lemmer would like band members performing at the breakfast to be ready to go at 8:00 AM. No required dress code (Pennfield apparel works great!). We will only be playing the fight song. After the fight song you are dismissed with everyone's extreme gratitude (especially Mrs. Lemmer's and MINE :) This performance is volunteer-but appreciated!!
August 19-Senior pictures are at 4:45-the band photos will be taken in the gym. Remember to grab a hat from the uniform room tonight at practice and put it in the band room. Your uniforms will be hanging in the band room and the room will be unlocked for you Wendesday.

Wednesday 19-Senior Marching Band Pictures. Band Seniors-your picture time is 4:45. You will need to be ready in uniform by then so I reccomend getting to the high school no later than 4:30. Your uniforms will be hanging in the BAND ROOM-it will be unlocked for you (I will be at the middle school open house). You will need to grab a hat from the uniform room Monday evening; please arrive to rehearsal early to grab it and store it in the band room. I will update with more information as I receive it.

Rookie camp on Tuesday was great! Our new members did a great job learning the fundamentals of marching and our drum majors and section leaders were phenominal at helping them along! 2026 marching season is off to a great start! For tonight's pre-camp rehearsal here are some details to know beforehand:
Rehearsal is from 6-8 PM. No instruments will be used this evening, but if you want to bring your instrument in tonight and put it in your band locker please feel free. All band members need to meet in the band room.
Please be sure to wear comfortable clothes and proper atheltic shoes-something you would wear in PE class is perfect. Don't forget sunscreen!
BRING A WATER BOTTLE! We will not have jugs down at the field tonight so bring a water bottle and fill it up in the school beforehand.
If you are donating non-perishable items you can bring those tonight and put them in the band room. Thank you in advance!
Finally and most important tonight-as you drop your student off for pre-camp please consider staying for our band booster meeting at 6PM. Items being discussed include marching band support for the fall as well as additional program support in the future and for the 2027 Disney trip. We need as many helping hands as we can get-the more we have, the less required of each person. Please feel free to send me any band booster questions you may have and I will put you in touch with the proper person. Thank you all in advance for supporting this wonderful organization!!
