Pendleton Virtual Learning Academy is part of the Pendleton School District. We are a virtual school and offer many on-site options for students who seek interaction with peers and staff.  We support families who have chosen to educate their children at home. 

Yes! All middle school students can participate in extra-curricular activities at Sunridge Middle School and even in-person classes. 

While there are no daily live sessions for your student, your student is encouraged to attend study hall, arrange for virtual sessions or join art or science club. 

Oregon Statewide Assessment takes place each spring for grades 3-8. Students will be required to come to the district office to take math, English, and science tests.  All students will participate in district assessments three times a year. We will complete the assessments during our check-ins. 

If your student is struggling with concepts contact the coordinator as soon as possible. Extra support can be provided to both the learning coach and the student.
