Submissions should include the top 5 pieces from each grade level K-HS. (65 from each school)
4 levels: (K-2) (3-5) (6-8) (9-12)
Each work is to be accompanied by a short artist’s statement.
There are three elements to consider: the “how,” the “what,” and the “why.” There should be enough information in your artist statement that someone can begin to imagine the art that you make without having it in front of them.
● Work should be completed under the direction of the art teacher and not at home.
● Submissions: students will photograph their work and submit via google form link. https://forms.gle/1kuvYwpiDb6DiU1TA
● Submission window: March 9-13, 2026
● Size: no limitations however, needs to be photographable
● Artwork:
○ 2D work [painting, drawing, collage]
○ 3D work [ceramics, cardboard or foamboard construction]
○ No digital media at this time. [photography, computer aided drawing, video]
● Judging:
○ work will be judged on the following criteria:
■ interpretation of theme
■ originality
■ quality and use of materials
○ All entries will be posted on the IMPACT website along with winners from each category.
Art Entries and winners will be posted here by March 16th.
