*Students must be fever free (< 100.4) for 24 hours without fever-reducing medication before returning to school.Â
All students needing medicine during the school day must have their parent/guardian report in person to the school nurse in order to sign a form ('Parent Request for Giving Medication at School').
Prescription medication must be in the original container with the pharmacy label affixed and turned into the nurse.
Any over-the-counter medication must be in its original packaging and turned into the nurse.
The nurse's office has the following medications available to give to students with documented parental/guardian consent (via Powerschool or handwritten SAFE form): acetaminophen, ibuprofen, cough drops, Tums, antibiotic ointment, hydrocortisone ointment.
