Meet Liv Skeiber

This month’s student spotlight has had a significant impact not only at school ,but also in the community. Senior Olivia Skeiber recently won the Good Citizen Award, this award is recognized by a national organization called Daughters of the American Revolution. A chapter in Duxbury MA sponsors 7 local high schools in recognizing the schools most well rounded students in many categories such as sportsmanship, extracurricular involvement, and leadership.
“I was selected at the Good Citizen from Pembroke High School for 2024 and I am extremely excited and proud to have received this opportunity,” stated Skeiber
Skeiber is the class of 2024’s president, and with that she is able to bring her whole grade together even though it can be a challenge. With this role she is able to create closer relationships with her classmates and come up with and plan fun events. Skeiber is also the president of DECA and the co-president of the Model UN club alongside her best friend, Bella Gill. She plays Varsity Field Hockey in the fall and Varsity Softball in the spring.
Last year, Skeiber won an award from the University of Rochester called the George Eastman young leaders book award. This award recognizes someone from the junior class who has shown excellence in academics and leadership.
Skeiber will be attending Miami University next fall and will be majoring in business with a concentration in supply chain and fashion management.
