Band 

The Pembroke Intermediate School has two bands- the A Band and the B Band!  In 4th grade, students can begin learning an instrument and have lessons once a week.  Once students reach a certain page in their lesson book, they will have the opportunity to join the B Band.  Once students then reach a page farther in their lesson book, students then have the opportunity to join the A Band and lessons still continue.  This allows our students to work and switch bands at their own pace.  Our award winning band program participates in many fun events and trips throughout the year!  Once the school year starts, 4th grade students will receive instrument demonstrations and have the opportunity to try out all of the band instruments. We will then decide what instrument they will be most successful on and begin their musical journey in the band program!
