To celebrate their outstanding achievement and engagement, students who earned a perfect score on each day’s quiz for our One Book, One School selection, A First Time for Everything by Dan Santat, were invited to attend a special field trip to Barnes & Noble. This reward recognized their dedication to reading, comprehension, and consistent effort throughout the school-wide initiative.

During the trip, students explored the bookstore, browsed a wide range of books, and enjoyed the opportunity to choose a book of their own to take home. The atmosphere was both fun and educational, with students sharing their reading interests, discussing A First Time for Everything, and making thoughtful book selections. The trip not only reinforced the value of reading but also celebrated student success in a meaningful and memorable way.

It was a proud moment for our school community to recognize and reward students for their academic excellence and love of reading!
