Victoria Stevenson Archangel Educational Excellence Scholarship
Pearls of Service, Inc. presents the Victoria Stevenson Archangel Educational Excellence Scholarship. Our organization is committed to providing service and support to deserving students in Collin County. There will be 5 scholarships awarded in the amount of $2000 each. Please submit the completed application by March 10th, 2024. Awards will be announced in March 2024.

Requirements:
Be a high school Senior, African American female, who lives in or attends high school in Collin County
Have a grade point average of 3.0 or better
Have an ACT score of 18 or better; or SAT score of 900 or better (in Critical Reading & Math)
Have applied to and/or have been accepted to a two (2) or four (4) year College /University
The following documents must be submitted with the application:
•A 500-750 word essay on one of the four topics listed within the application
•A letter of recommendation from your school counselor, teacher, or principal
•An official copy of your high school transcript
Disbursement: Funds will be disbursed directly to the scholarship recipient’s school and are not
transferable. Upon award notification, scholarship winners will be required to attend the Mother Daughter Tea on March 17th, 2024. Details will be shared with the winner.
NOTE: An official transcript can be submitted through an electronic service such as Parchment. IF your high school is unable to submit an official transcript electronically, PLEASE make a request to your school’s administrator to mail an official hard copy to the PO Box listed below.

Council of Presidents Leadership Award
This inaugural scholarship, founded and funded by The Presidents Council, was offered to a graduating senior, young woman, who was a resident of, or attended high school in, Collin County, Texas. The applicants must have had at least a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale and at least a score of 19 on the ACT or a score of 980 on the SAT. The ideal applicant must have also applied, and been accepted, to a Historically Black College or University (HBCU).
The amount awarded to the recipient was $2,000.
