Welcome Letter to the Class of 2025
Dear Class of 2025,
Please allow us to introduce ourselves. Mrs. Sutton and Ms. Hohner have been friends since we were in the 8th grade and now are excited to be starting this journey with you as 8th graders. Mrs. Sutton is Living Environment teacher in the Science Department. Her classroom is located in the Science Wing - Room 230. In addition to being the class co-advisor for the Class of 2025, she is also the advisor for Student Council and the co-advisor for the Class of 2021. Ms. Hohner is a teacher in the Social Studies Department. Her primary classroom can be found on the first floor - Room 108. Ms. Hohner is also the co-advisor for the Class of 2021 and the Model United Nations advisor.
The next 5 years will be an exciting time. We hope that you choose to become actively involved in a variety of activities that will allow you to make new friendships and open the door to new experiences. Being a Pearl River Pirate means being respectful to all both inside and outside of school, being a positive role model, and showing kindness and dedication in all of your tasks. We are confident that the Class of 2025 will continue that tradition.
Over the next 5 years we will be conducting a variety of fundraising opportunities to help you save for the Disney Senior Trip and other class functions.
We will be looking for class officers to represent your class. If you are interested in leading your class - we are looking for Dedicated, Reliable, Organized, Innovative and Positive people to lead the Class as President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary.
Our first fundraiser will be occurring this spring - see the Google Classroom for details .
All students in the Class of 2025 should sign up on the Class of 2025 Google Classroom for regular updates and notifications on class activities.
We know that your first year at the high school has been a different experience, but we are hopeful for a fun, positive, and safe future.
Ms. Hohner and Mrs. Sutton
