Stuff the Bus gives the Pea Ridge community the opportunity to provide needed school supplies to the students of Pea Ridge Schools. By making a gift to Bright Future's Stuff the Bus, you're helping ensure that our students have everything they need to start the school year off ready to learn.
The Back to School Bash Program is a partnership between Bright Futures Pea Ridge and the Pea Ridge Ministerial Alliance that provides students with new school supplies; preparing them for their academic studies, building their self-esteem, and setting them up for success. During the B2SB, students receive their school supplies, haircuts, clothing, and breakfast. This is one of our most fun and most rewarding events
The Angel Tree program allows community members the opportunity to provide Christmas gifts to students and families of Pea Ridge who might otherwise not have gifts on Christmas morning.
Lunch Buddies & Breakfast Buddies are mentoring programs that pair elementary age students with a caring adult that meets with the student during lunch. School personnel identify students who could benefit from a supportive, one-on-one relationship with a positive role-model.
Bright Futures collects new and almost-new formal dresses and accessories and provides them, free of charge, to high school juniors and seniors who are unable to purchase their own Prom attire.
The Pea Ridge Intermediate Little Pantry provides food to those who need it. Typical items found in the Little Pantry are Ramen Noodles, Mac & Cheese, Soup, Cereal, Crackers, Baby Items, etc. "Take what you need. Leave what you can."
Bright Futures Donation Center accepts clothing and shoes for all ages. Beginning in January of 2020, we hope to be able to open the storeroom one Saturday a month to allow families to "shop" the storeroom for clothes and shoes.
The Track and Field day provides special education track and field teams the opportunity to compete in races and field events in a supportive and encouraging environment.
