On November 21, 2019 at its Community Volunteer Luncheon, Bright Futures Pea Ridge launched its #My51 Campaign. Aligned closely with programs that other Bright Futures affiliates are utilizing, #My51 is a commitment to give "51" each month to Bright Futures Pea Ridge. It can be 51 minutes, items, dollars, etc.
Donate 51 minutes to help in the Bright Futures Storeroom (sorting, laundering, folding clothes). Contact Misty Harris 800.451.1343 ex 5006 or mharris@pearidgek12.com to schedule a time to volunteer
Go to a school and have lunch with a student twice this month (lunch shifts are approx. 25 minutes) as part of our Lunch Buddies program.
Buy 51 pencils to donate to our school supply section at the Bright Futures Storeroom.
Drop off donations at 1536 N Davis.
Give $51 to Bright Futures to help support our many programs. Make checks payable to Pea Ridge Schools & mail to 979 Weston St. Pea Ridge, AR 72751 attn. Danielle Rose. If designating to a specific program, please include the program in the memo line.
Join a building-level Bright Futures Council (meetings are once a month for about an hour).
Volunteer at the Intermediate School library to help shelve books.
Visit a school 1-2 mornings to greet students as they come to school.
Volunteer to serve dinner at a PRS Family event.

Volunteer at the Pea Ridge Partners Track and Field Day.
Donate 51 pairs of underwear to the Bright Futures Storeroom. Drop off donations at 1536 N. Davis.
Purchase a new pair of shoes for the Heart and Soles project. -Drop off donations at the high school for Mrs. Cheryl Tillman.
Spend 51 minutes cleaning off your bookshelves to donate children’s books for our summer book bus.
Donate 51 stocking hats or pairs of gloves for our Winter Apparel Drive.

When shopping, look for buy one, get one free or great sales and stock up on items that Bright Futures could use.
Attend one of the many fundraising events in Pea Ridge to support Bright Futures and our students, i.e. The F.O.P Chili Cookoff, Breakfast with Santa, Cops and Kids at the Pea Ridge Cafe, and many more.
Get into your attic or basement and find that musical instrument to donate to the Blackhawk Band Instrument Closet
Spend 51 minutes shopping for gifts for a family through our Holiday Angel Tree program.

Write 51 cards of encouragement for school counselors to share with students throughout the year.
Spend 51 minutes using sidewalk chalk on the front sidewalk of a school building to welcome students, teachers and administrators to school.
Partner with other parents & community members and get 51 students to give back through a volunteer effort with a local charity or civic organization.
Share 51 articles, throughout the school year, on the importance of volunteer work and/or providing education on children in poverty via your social media outlets.

If you’re an employer, give your employees 51 minutes/month as time off to volunteer.
Spend 51 minutes this month praying for our teachers & students.
Volunteer to be a breakfast buddy.

Spend 51 minutes talking to a high school student about applying to colleges and/or applying for financial aid.
Invite a high school student to job shadow you for 51 minutes.
Use #My51 on social media to share with others how you are supporting Bright Futures.
