I want to take a second to formally aka informally introduce myself to you, our newest member of Peak Professional Group, PLLC.
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor. I have an associates degree (AA) in Human Services Technology, Bachelor's Degree in Social Work and a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Crisis & Trauma.
Now, that is my jam. I absolutely love to help people heal from trauma in their lives. I am a Rapid Resolution Therapy (RRT) Facilitator as well as a Reiki Level 2 Practitioner. I am heading to Vegas summer of 2021 to complete my Clinical HypnoTherapy Certification. I weave a lot into my sessions with clients and draw from personal and professional research, experiencing and training!
I was born and raised in Ohio. In my early 30's I moved with my then-husband and children to Puerto Rico where I spent 8 years enjoying the unique experience of living on an island.
I have worked in ever setting known- from my first job at McD's to housekeeping, small stores, paralegal, activities director at a men's facility, Adult Community Support Worker, Group Facilitator (DBT & IOP for SUD), Child Abuse Investigator and Child Welfare Advocate- all before turning my gaze towards what I have always know I would be- a healer.
In the mental health field, I have worked in the school system, provided outpatient services in the community, clinical director and eventually opening my own group practice 7 years ago. I am a private practice consultant & coach and also own a sister company called Peak Practice Solutions, LLC (www.mypeakpractice.com) which helps providers all over the United States get credentialed with insurance panels!
The practice has been growing, expanding and aligning with my true passion and purpose ever since it's inception.
Thank you for putting your faith in Peak and know that I am here to support your professional journey throughout your time at Peak and often times, even after you have stepped out into a new path!
Peak is more than a job, it is a way of being. It is my hope that you view your time at the practice in a similar way. You are now part of the Peak family, welcome aboard!
