Netball season is about to get underway. Year 7 students - who are keen to play in a Saturday netball team next year, will need to bring sneakers to school every lunchtime this week to learn to play 7 a-side netball. Tues, Wed, Thurs and Fri on the netball courts from 1:00 - 1:25pm.
Year 7 and Year 8 netball trials will start next week after school on a Tuesday and Thursday. They will continue for the weeks after that. A newsletter will be ready tomorrow to share with your family.

Please make sure you check your team times and where you need to be. If you do not have futsal shoes or need some new ones, please come to see Whaea Clare in Wha B and try some on at Interval.

After the success of the Bronco and Streetball competitions at the end of last year we are looking to host more class, mountain group and friendship competitions this year. Volleyball seems to be the talk of the playground right now so we will kick off the 2026 season with a bit of that!

Pedestrians - Reminders of your responisibities when walking to or from school
-you need to give way to cars. Look both ways and only cross if no cars are near you.
-the safest place to cross the road is at pedestrian crossings, especially those with lights. You are expected to use the crossing at the front of school if you need to get to the other side.

Netball - last day today for Year 7 to learn 7 a-side netball. Next week on Tuesday and Thursday there will be trials for Year 7 and 8 teams. Please have netball shoes / sneakers to wear as well as PE gear. It will finish 4:30 each night.

All Students - It is great to see that you are getting to school before 8:45am. When you arrive at school, go straight to your class, put your bag away and get organised for class. If you are wanting to catch up with your friend/s, wait outside your class or their class, not by the entry gate or just inside the school grounds. We, just like your parents, expect you to come to school and not leave the school grounds until after 3pm
