You don’t need another therapist who just listens.
You need someone who understands how your mind works—and helps you create change.
Most of the people I work with are high-functioning, capable, and outwardly “fine,”
but internally feel overwhelmed, stuck in their thoughts, and exhausted from trying to keep everything together.
I take a structured, practical approach focused on helping you understand your patterns and create meaningful change.
This is collaborative work—focused, direct, and designed to help you feel more in control of your thoughts and reactions.
My Approach
I specialize in working with adults who struggle with anxiety, overthinking, perfectionism, and OCD patterns.
Therapy with me is not surface-level. We focus on understanding how your mind works, breaking patterns that keep you stuck, and helping you feel more in control of your thoughts and your life.
This is a collaborative, focused process, not simply a place to vent.
My Background
My path into this work was not traditional. I spent years immersed in music before shifting toward psychology, driven by a deeper curiosity about why people think, feel, and behave the way they do.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology and criminal justice from Keystone College and later my master’s degree in clinical psychology from Marywood University. I continued advanced graduate training in mental health counseling at the University of Scranton.
Over the years, I have worked in a variety of settings, including private practice and the state prison system. I also taught psychology at the college level, which strengthened my ability to break down complex patterns in a way that actually makes sense and creates change.
I founded Peace of Mind NEPA to create a more personal, focused, and private experience for clients.
A Different Kind of Therapy Experience
Therapy does not have to feel clinical or cold.
My office is designed to feel private, calm, and removed from the stress of everyday life. Located in a peaceful riverfront setting, sessions take place in a space that allows you to slow down, think clearly, and actually breathe.
This environment is especially helpful for clients who feel overwhelmed, mentally “on” all the time, or hesitant to open up in more traditional settings.
