PDS 200 Introduction to Major and Career Exploration (1 credit course)

This elective course is designed to help you gain insight into your personal strengths and interests while exploring academic majors and careers. You will likely take a variety of career assessments and you will complete activities created to help you make an informed decision about your academic and professional choices. Last, you will learn how to explore various occupations and develop a global view of career.

Majors and Career Talk with Academic and Career Advising Team

WHEN: Thursday, October 7th from 3:00 - 4:00pm

WHERE: Flowe 110

WHAT: This interactive event, part of the First Year Success Series and hosted by Academic and Career Advising, explores the connection between major and career. You will leave this session with a better understanding of the types of skills you can develop with your major (whether you have decided yet or not), and what you can do with those skills. This session is recommended for any student who wants to learn more about what a major can do for you.
