Prospective students can upload an audition recording (video preferred) with their School of Music Application. Following the successful submission of their application, students who do not upload a recorded audition with their application will be contacted by their Area Coordinator to schedule an in-person audition.
To be considered for financial aid and scholarships when the most funds are available, students should submit their application before Audition Weekend, which is usually in February of the school year prior to beginning classes at PSU. If an audition hasn't been uploaded or scheduled before Audition Weekend, students are strongly encouraged to attend Audition Weekend to meet the faculty and present their audition at that event.

Applicants will not be admitted to the School of Music until they have passed an entrance audition.
