The Service Employees International Union (SEIU) represents approximately 72,000 workers across the state of Oregon alone in the higher education, state, and homecare industries. Sublocal 89 is the chapter of the SEIU 503 Higher Ed local consisting of classified staff employed at Portland State University. We are early childhood teachers, office support staff, facilities crew members, nurses, food service workers, custodians, and more. Together, we make PSU work!

Portland State University is located in the heart of downtown Portland, Oregon in Multnomah County.
