Nomination Information

Nomination Overview

Nominations are solicited from faculty, chairs, and deans at the beginning of PSU’s Fall term. Staff are also encouraged to initiate nominations, particularly for the Research Administrator of the Year Award. The Deans approve completed nominations before they are submitted to a review committee. The committee comprises past winners, administrative leaders, and faculty from disciplines and schools or colleges across the University. Typically, no more than one award is made in each category. Review committees may forego granting an award in any particular year.

Nominations were due November 6, 2023 via the 2024 Research Awards Nomination Form. 

Submission Deadlines: 

• Nominations should be initiated by Tuesday, October 24, 2023. 

• For Presidential Award nominees, the list of four external contacts is also due by Tuesday, October 24, 2023.

• All nominations completed by Monday, November 6, 2023 were eligible for review.
