2024 Research Awards

Portland State University’s department of Research & Graduate Studies recognizes PSU researchers, graduate student mentors, and research administrative professionals for their vital contributions to the University and their fields with these annual university-wide awards:

• Presidential Career Research Award

• Graduate Mentoring Excellence Award

• Undergraduate Mentoring Excellence Award

• Early Career Research Award

• Research Faculty Award for Non-tenure-track Faculty

• Research Administrator of the Year Award

Other University Awards

Each PSU College or School is also invited each year to honor a Researcher of the Year from its faculty. PSU’s Academic Affairs department also welcomes nominations of outstanding scholars for PSU's Faculty and Staff Excellence Awards. Awardees are celebrated at the Research Awards Ceremony, organized and hosted by RGS.  The Awards celebration is part of Portland State’s Research Week, which honors and elevates the exceptional research, scholarship, and creative work of PSU faculty, staff, and students, who together make Portland State one of the nation's most innovative public research universities.
