In July–August 2024, the CCOHVS evaluation team conducted a System Survey with members of three Home Visiting System advisory groups: the ELC Home Visiting System Committee, the Home Visiting Collaborative, and the CCOHVS Steering Team.
Participants represented state, regional, and local home visiting programs and agencies, including OHA, ODE, DELC, and ODHS. The survey aimed to gather input on the home visiting system’s governance, communication, and collaboration, and was completed by 36 individuals (90% response rate).
At the request of Tribal Home Visiting Coordinators, CCOHVS is organizing a monthly connection time for you to meet and learn more about one another's work. Click here to learn more.
Prenatal & early childhood home visits provide vital support, improving parenting, family well-being, and health. Yet, only 8-18% of eligible families receive these services due to barriers like lack of awareness, complex systems, and limited resources.
We are taking action! CCOHVS is working to expand access through family leadership, coordinated referrals, and cross-sector collaboration, ensuring all families get the support they deserve.. Through collaboration and innovation, Oregon aims to build a universal, equitable home visiting system so every family gets the support they deserve.
