Jeff Bowler is a devoted educator at the Washington State School for the Blind (WSSB) in Vancouver, Washington. Jeff currently enjoys teaching Orientation & Mobility, Careers, Business, and Horticulture to middle and high school level students. Jeff has reinvented his career into becoming an educator to help other visually impaired people learn and prepare for careers. Jeff has an unconventional yet adventurous past as an accomplished captain/commercial fisherman from Alaska and as a custom home builder with family in East Vancouver, Washington.

As an educator, Jeff has earned credentials as Special Education Teacher, Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI), Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist (COMS), and Career & Technical Educator (CTE) with multiple endorsements.

Jeff is happiest with his wife Christina living a peaceful life with their youngest of two sons Jacob within their home located in Longview, Washington. Jeff believes in expanding the limits of your abilities, innovation, and creativity, with passions including most anything relating to the outdoors -boats and the marine industry, gardening, as well as construction and woodworking.
