We were formed in the year 1992
After a few years, the student group, Las Mujeres, was formed from Mecha
At Mecha de PSU, we are all una familia
Mecha de PSU is a hub/space to make connections/friendships & support each other
We host General Meetings mostly every week & host Events roughly 3 per term
We do collabs with other Latine student orgs/departments on-campus
We connect with other Mecha chapters in the Region & at the National level
There is a political component to our student group - the last political rally Mecha de PSU participated was supporting our DREAMers community at Pioneer Square in Downtown Portland
We have a Signature Event we host annually: Edúcate Conference
