The InnovAIte Research @PSU program empowers faculty and staff with the knowledge, skills, and resources to integrate generative AI seamlessly into their daily work. Through training, hands-on experience, and community engagement, the program aims to build a solid foundation in the application of AI, foster creativity in participants, and establish a thriving community of practice where generative AI enthusiasts can share, collaborate, and innovate.

Building AI Literacy
InnovAIte Research Academy is a comprehensive training hub that provides faculty and staff with the foundational knowledge and practical skills to utilize generative AI effectively in their research and administrative roles. Through a structured curriculum of online courses, workshops, and expert-led sessions, participants are introduced to and master AI concepts, explore its diverse applications, and develop the ability to craft effective AI prompts to address specific research challenges and automate processes.
InnovAIte Bytes & Insights
Nurturing a Community of AI Enthusiasts
The InnovAIte Research program extends beyond mere training and skill development to cultivate a thriving community of practice where AI enthusiasts can connect, share experiences, and collectively advance their knowledge in this transformative technology. Regular InnovAIte Bytes & Insights lunches allow participants to discuss their AI applications, exchange best practices, and learn from each other's expertise. The annual InnovAIte Summit serves as a culminating event, showcasing cutting-edge AI advancements and providing a forum for participants to engage with experts and fellow GenAI enthusiasts.
PromptCrafters@PSU
Designing Prompt Solutions
PromptCrafters@PSU is a collaborative design sprint program that brings faculty, staff, and student teams together to craft innovative AI prompts tailored to specific grantseeking, award management, and research administration challenges. Through a structured and iterative design thinking process, teams identify ideas, refine and prioritize them, develop prompts, create prototypes, test and evaluate them, and refine and iterate until effective solutions are identified. The refined prototypes are then shared with InnovAIte participants and the broader research community for further exploration and application.
