Are you interested in water, making maps, and building community? If you are 18 or older and live, work, or have other connections to the Klamath Basin, you may be eligible to participate in a research study designed to understand how water challenges are affecting people and their communities. Participants will work together on a creative mapmaking activity (quilting!) to illustrate our connections to water – no prior experience is required. Please join us at OSU Extension’s Klamath County Learning Center (6923 Washburn Way, Klamath Falls) on the following dates: Squares and Stories: Friday, July 17, 12 - 3pm. Saturday, July 18, 10am - 1pm. Sunday, July 19, 11:30am - 2:30pm. Piecing and Patterns: Friday, August 7, 5 - 7pm. Saturday, August 8, 10am - 1pm. YOU MAY BE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IF YOU: Are 18 or older; Have concerns about water quality or availability; Live, work, or have other connections to the Klamath Basin.
