The Center for Lakes and Reservoirs is working to build a Community Volunteer Network to assist in regular and more frequent monitoring of waterbodies across Oregon. If you are you passionate about preserving the natural beauty and ecological health of Oregon's lakes, rivers, and reservoirs, please consider joining CLR in our efforts to monitor water bodies across the state for aquatic invasive species.
The Center for Lakes and Reservoirs is developing a program to monitor Oregon's waterways for invasive species including snails, mussels, crayfish, and plants. But we can't do it alone. That's where you come in!
By becoming a part of our Community Volunteer Network, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the protection of our aquatic ecosystems. Throughout the summer months, we're seeking dedicated individuals like you to assist us in collecting surveys and data from various waterbodies across the state.
Whether you visit a waterbody regularly or travel throughout Oregon you can join our community volunteer network. Our goal is to reach as many waterbodies as regularly as possible - we can't do it alone!
No prior experience is necessary – just a love for Oregon's natural areas and a willingness to lend a helping hand. Whether you're an avid angler, a nature enthusiast, or simply someone who cares deeply about environmental conservation, there's a place for you on our team!
