The Black Foundation of Community Networks (BFCN) is a non-profit organization that was founded in 2011 and continues to serve and support local Black communities. BFCN provides free and low-cost programs, advocacy, and resources, and connects people with other local organizations and services.

PDSB's Mental Health focused page has a wide variety of supportive links to put you in touch with the help you need. There are also PDSB Anti-Black Racism Resources and Supports available.
Dufferin Peel CMHA offers 24/7 crisis support.
The Hope for Wellness Help Line offers immediate mental health counselling and crisis intervention to all Indigenous peoples across Canada. Call the toll-free Help Line at 1-855-242-3310, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week or use the online chat feature through the web link.
A culturally grounded, fully confidential helpline for Indigenous women available in 14 languages all across Ontario.
Peel District School Board offers information on supports for wellbeing in a dedicated section of the PDSB website, as well as the PDSB Mental Health and Wellbeing Student Portal Link. Guidance staff at PAS South are happy to help you navigate these resources to find the best option(s) for you.
Students on a mental health support waitlist, who have engaged with their family doctor, and have an interest in taking some supported proactive steps, might be interested in this program.
If you need a family doctor or haven't seen yours for a while, that's okay too - check in with your Guidance Teacher and we can help you navigate your needs.
