Animate Your Name

Project Requirements:

Your name can be introduced and animated however you want. The goal is to create a 3-5 second piece of animation that shows off your understanding of the animation principles we’ve covered so far. As a minimum you should be incorporating at least 2 principles (hopefully more) in your finished piece.

Tips and Tricks

• Adobe Animate file size 1920x1080 or similar.

• Plan your work out ahead of time (incorporate at least 2 principles of animation.

• Your goal is to start with a empty stage and end with an empty stage (this will make your animation loop nicely)

• Remember to work on pose-to-pose.

• Animate on the 2s. (feel free to animate on the 1s for more detailed areas).

• Your animation should aim to be 3-5 seconds long. (that's between 72 and 120 frames of animation)

• Export your work as an animated GIF and submit

• Answer the reflection questions below.

Reflection Questions

Using Google Docs, write a short reflection (2-3 paragraphs) outlining what animation principles you used in your animation and a brief description as to how you applied those principles.
