People will pull garlic mustard at home to get rid of it in Canada because it is not native to here.
Garlic mustard kills wild ginger, bloodroot, toothworts, trilliums, and other native flowers.
If you pull garlic mustard at home, please drop it off in brown yard waste bags in the front fenced-in area at Belfountain Public School! Drop-off can take place between 8:15-9:00am from May 13th-17th, as well May 21st-24th.
May 27th-31st:
The grade 4 students will be selling garlic mustard in compostable bags for $5. 100% of the proceeds made will be donated to the CVC!
If you would like to preorder your bag of garlic mustard, please click HERE!
** Our goal is to sell 40 bags to help us reach our fundraising total!
