Twictée synthesizes the words "Twitter" and "Dictée". Twictée is a conceptual framework which serves to improve the spelling and grammar of French speaking children world-wide by having them engage in cooperative writing activities via Twitter. Students co-construct tweets, peer-edit the 140 character compositions of the mystery classes with whom they are partnered and tweet out their corrections in the form of "twoutils".

Twictée enables teachers to connect their students with classrooms around the world and engage in collaborative projects such as "Mystery Hangouts" and collaborative GAFE inspired projects.
