The Advanced Placement Program (AP Program) administered by The College Board and taught at local high schools, allows students to participate in a university level course and possibly earn university credit while still in high school. The main advantage of taking an AP course is better preparation for university. Students take annual exams to prove they have mastered the material. This is an enriched program with a high level of academic content.
Students must complete an online application and are required to answers a written response question.
There is a $40 application fee (non-refundable) and a yearly fee.
