Crash Landing!

We came into school and found a Space Rocket had crashed into the Early Years Garden!

We had a See, Think and Wonder about what was there. The children had lots of ideas.

Then we discovered that a trail of space dust led to the other class which was in a terrible mess!

We found a family of aliens hiding. We decided to give them a name.

Saber tooth Tigers have practised number bonds of 10 by splitting cardboard pants into two parts and placing the correct number of counters onto each part to make a 10.

Numeracy - 2D Shapes

As part of our numeracy learning the children were asked to make a model rocket using 2D shapes. The children then labelled all of the 2D shapes that they used. What fantastic rockets we had!

Tigers have discovered space rocks left by the aliens. They had to be number detectives and use their understanding of value as related to size to guess which Numicon was hidden inside.
