Park City H.S. Guidance Office Current Scholarships  ~  2021-2022

This page provides access information for all of the scholarships received in the Park City High School guidance office.  Just move your cursor to highlight the name of the scholarship listed below.  When you click on it, a new tab will open and you will find one of three possible ways to apply:

1)  An application form may open in either Word or PDF format for you to print off or download, complete, and send by mail.

2)  A website may open to a page where you could find information about the scholarship, eligibility requirements, and an access point for you to submit an online application.  (Occasionally, you may have to submit applications online, and then submit supporting information, transcripts, letters of recommendation, etc., by mail or e-mail.)

3)  A website may open to a page where you may find information about the scholarship, directions telling you how to apply, or possibly an access point for you to download and print an application to send by mail.

- Applicants must be a senior or junior in a Montana high school.

- Must be currently serving as an officer or representative in student council, a class officer, a National Honor Society officer, or an organization officer.

- Student (or their parents/family) must be members of MT Farmers Union.


● Coca-Cola Scholars Program Scholarship  .....................(Due:  October 2, 2023)

- Must be a High School Senior.



● DAR Good Citizens Program ..............................................(Due:  November 20, 2023)

- Must be a High School Senior.

-500 word statement: "Tell me who the most influential person in your life has been and why."

-Copy of letter of acceptance to any Montana University, college, or vocational school.

ELKS   SCHOLARSHIPS

● ELKS Most Valuable Student Scholarship  ............(Deadline: November 13, 2023)

- $1,000 to $12,500 scholarships available

- Must be a High School Senior.

● ELKS Legacy Awards  ...........................................................(Deadline: February 5, 2024)

- For children OR grandchildren of Elks members

● ELKS Emergency Educational Grants Program....(Deadline: December 1, 2023)

- For children of deceased or totally disabled Elks members.

- Apply between May 1 and October 31 of academic year you attend college.

- Student must show good leadership, scholarship, and financial need.

- For students with a parent that has suffered a work-caused fatality or injury.



● Verplank Foundation Scholarship  ..............................(Opens January 1, 2023)

- Applicant must be a high school senior with minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA.

- Must be active in sports

- Must have been diagnosed with childhood Type 1 Diabetes.

- 1 $2,500 award, 1 $2000 award, 1 $1,500 award, and 1 $1000 award available

-Must live within 150 miles of Billings




§  Must renew each year to continue scholarship.

§  Each year adds more money to scholarship to those who are awarded.


-Must be resident of Stillwater county

-2.5 or higher cumulative GPA

-Must have been served under an Individual Education Plan (IEP)

- Must be an active member of 4-H.

- $3,000 Requires a course completion, 5 essay-questions, and a Bio Essay

- Must be a graduating senior with minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA

- Must be pursuing a career in conservation, natural resources, environmental education, conservation law enforcement, biology or related field.



● Vegetarian Resource Group Scholarship  .....................(Due:  February 20, 2024)

- Applicant must be a high school senior.

- Must have promoted vegetarianism in school or community.




AMERICAN LEGION AUXILIARY                                                                  

● ALA Children of Warriors Scholarship ...................(Deadline:  March 1 of each calendar year)

            -Candidates for this award shall be daughters, sons, grandsons, granddaughter, great-granddaughters, or great-grandsons of veterans who served in the United States Armed Forces during eligibility dates for membership in The American Legion: April 6, 1917, to November 11, 1918; and any time after December 7, 1941.



● TEAMSTERS "James R. Hoffa" Scholarship .................. (Will open Novemeber 2023)

- Applicant must be the child of a Teamster member.



● NILE Foundation Scholarship  ............................................(Deadline:  March 1, 2023)

- Applicant must have participated in NILE activities and be currently enrolled in 4-H or FFA.

- Must have a minimum 2.5 Cumulative GPA.

- Students must have taken their ACT Test by December 31.

- Must be a Montana resident, entering their first year of college in 2023.



TREACY FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

● Montana Jaycee Foundation Scholarship ..............(Due: January 19, 2024)

$1000 Annual Scholarship for Seniors


-2 $1000 scholarships

- Must be attending in-state College or University



Award: $2,500

Requirements: 

-Must be a high school senior, undergraduate, graduate, or trade school student

-Must attend a U.S.-based high school, trade school, or university

-Must hold a GPA of 3.0 or higher

-Must have an interest in starting a business


-Must be high school graduate or GED Completion

-GPA of atleast 2.5

-Pursuing degree in Criminal Justice


-Turn in completed applications to counselor.

-Return Completed Application to School Counselor before due date.


● A complete and legible scholarship online application or mailed in and submitted by the deadline (January 21, 2024, by midnight). Applications must be mailed and postmarked by January 21, 2024. 

● Current Montana student with a status of high school senior at the time of application. 

● Proof of acceptance or letter of intent to attend any Montana post-secondary school/apprentice program/ certificate institute of higher learning and certify on the application if you have submitted a Free Application of Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). 

● The recipient will use the one-time scholarship funds for the 2024-2025 academic year.

-2.5 GPA minimum

-Preferable plans on career in law enforcement or criminal justice.
