College Connections

Montana High School students can enroll in college level classes. Students may choose to enroll in classes online, or attend classes on campus at MSU-Billings. There are many advantages for students enrolling in classes online:

1.) Students may access college classes right from their home or high school - no travel expenses!

2.) A 3-credit course costs high school students only $155! (When taken as a full-time college student, a 3-credit class would cost $700 or more)

3.) There is no limit on the number of credits students can enroll in.

Great Falls College MSU - Dual Enrollment Classes

Dual enrollment is the broad term for students to take college coursework in high school and receive both college and high school credit, or just early college credit if they so choose. A 3-credit course offered through this program will cost only $155! Information about the Dual Enrollment Classes can be found by clicking HERE . Students enrolling for the Dual Enrollment classes at Great Falls College MSU must complete the following:

1.) Checklist and Important Information (pdf)

2.) Application for Admission (pdf) - If you are a new student and this is the first time you have participated in a dual-credit course

with Great Falls College MSU, you must complete this form. (Students who have previously taken dual credit courses at the college do not

need to complete this form.)

3.) Student Registration & Release of Information Form (pdf) - All students must complete this form to register for a Dual Enrollment class.

Flathead Valley Community College (Kalispell) - Running Start Program

● Running Start Program Details

The Running Start program provides eligible high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to get an affordable start on their education by earning college credits while still in high school. The first six credits are offered at no cost for in-district students*, and subsequent courses are offered at a significantly reduced cost. Some courses offer dual credit opportunities which allow students to gain high school and college credit simultaneously.
