At PCS, every one of us has a special talent, a burning passion, big goals and even bigger dreams that intrinsically define who we are. That's what makes us "professionals." However, often there is something more, something entirely different within us that is yearning to be expressed… something unprofessional, yet authentic and beautiful. Here, at The PCS Amateur, we help students, faculty, and alumni alike tap into that whimsical and unfiltered creative side of themselves. We are a community of artists, creators, sharers, givers, and doers, and you can be a part of it.

Our wonderful team of writers and creatives are bringing their ideas to life with extraordinary new topics to excite the whole community. Some upcoming features include music album and art exhibit reviews, the highlights of current events within the school and outside of it, and a brand new satirical section all about the sarcastic societal commentary we all love. 

These are just a few of the ideas we at The Amateur have come up with, but we need your ideas too! Creative writings including short stories or poems, videos of music, dance, film, and performance, artworks, articles, reviews, all of it! If you create it, you can submit it, and if you dream it, you can do it.
