How do I submit?
First, you should definitely be lit and submit! Click here to view example submissions and read our submission guidelines.
Email all submissions or inquires to litmag@pcs-nyc.org.
Alternatively, approach your teacher or advisor to point you in the direction of either Mr. Laguzza or Annabelle.
What can I submit?
In short, anything!
Generally, original works of creative pieces: Poetry, Prose, or Fine Art.
Specifically, submissions could include, but are not limited to: fictional pieces, memoir reflections, free verse poetry, artistic realistic photography or abstract technical shots, photographed or scanned images of fine art such as original pencil sketches, drawings, collage, painting, mosaic, 3D sculpture, etc.
Your artwork can be realistic or it can be abstract.
Writings can be produced within a PCS class or in your free time.
Avoid controversial or non-school friendly topics.
What is a literary and fine arts magazine?
Simply, a literary and fine arts magazine is a collection of creative works from are community. However, together, it is a work of art in itself!
If I submit, will my work be published?
All works are subject to review by the editors and the faculty advisor. Therefore, it’s possible it may not. However, we will work with you to edit and craft a piece you are truly proud to share.
If you submit a work that is not published, you will still be named as a Contributor to the magazine.
Is this a digital or print magazine?
Digital as of now, but a print version may be coming in the future!

Can I submit work to be considered for the cover?
Absolutely. Every issue we have new cover art.
