Why Self-Care?
Self-care is important to maintaining a healthy relationship with yourself. It means doing things to take care of our minds, bodies, and souls by engaging in activities that promote well-being and reduce stress. Doing so enhances our ability to live fully, vibrantly, and effectively. Self-care can help you stay healthy, happy, and resilient. Some examples of self-care may include:
Exercise
Get enough sleep
Eat healthy foods
Drink plenty of water
Go outside-appreciate nature
Carve out some time for yourself
Creative Expression: journaling, drawing, painting, playing music, etc...
Play with a pet
Do not procrastinate
Do something kind for others
Take a Technology break -too much technology is not good for our brain!
