A sampling of some of the tools and supports available to PCCS students.
These resources include UDL supports as well as those supports that target specific student barriers that can be addressed via an AT Consult and/or AT evaluation.

EquatIO is an extension that can be added to any student Chomebook or staff laptop to increase math accessibility. Equatio lets everyone create digital math with no tricky coding or math languages to master. Input is easy, just type, handwrite, use your mouse, or dictate equations - formulas - and more!
Reading and Writing Tools:
Read&Write for Google:
Read&Write for Google is an extension that is available on any student Chromebook and staff laptop. The Read&Write for Google Toolbar contains tools such as; speech-to-text, text-to-speech, word prediction, dictionary, picture dictionary, and more!
Read&Write for Google works with Gmail, Google Docs, Slides, Sheets, and Forms. It also works on Canvas and most websites students use to read articles or collect research.
2. Monarch Reader:
Monarch Reader, an online, open source library of free, easy-to-read, accessible books, recently reached 10 million books read.
The site was launched in 2008 and has averaged more than one million books read per year. Books are available in 27 languages on a wide range of topics, all accessible using standard keyboards, touch screens, assistive switches, and other assistive devices.

Monarch Shared Reader strives to improve literacy, communication, language, and academic skills of this group of students. The goal is to empower teachers to use an evidence-based approach to shared reading to provide their students with interactive access to grade level content while improving their students’ communication and literacy skills.
3. Unite for Literacy:
Unite for Literacy provides engaging digital picture books complete with audio narration options in a variety of languages.
These books are available on the Unite for Literacy bookshelf, a website which makes the digital book available on any device - computer, tablet or smartphone. Search for books by categories or by titles.

4. Sora:
Sora is a library of EBooks that is accessible to all students. It is accessible via the Google Waffle, and most PCCS schools have accounts with Sora.
