AT Consult: An AT Consult is a brainstorming session between the AT Consultant and the case manager and/or IEP team. Request a consult if you have an idea of the student's barriers and what tools/types of tools may be beneficial. Request a consult if a student already has AT support and you want to review supports to ensure they are still appropriate for this student.
AT Follow-Up: This option is best for students who have AT/AAC tools or supports in place, and the team is wondering whether the current tool(s) is still appropriate.
AT Assessment: An AT Assessment is an observation of the student in the classroom by the AT Consultant, followed by a SETT Meeting and report to share the results and possible recommendations. An AT Assessment requires a Consent to Evaluate or REED be signed. Please contact the A&IT Department before putting in a request for an AT Assessment.
AAC/AT Training: An AAC or AT Training is when an AT Consultant holds a coaching session with an individual, small group, or large group to discuss an AAC system, or AT program such as Read&Write for Google.
Data Assistance: Request data assistance if you and the IEP team are struggling with the data collection process to assess whether or not a specific tool is appropriate for a student.
Digital Learning Support: Request Digital Learning Support for assistance with Canvas, Google Meet, Docusign, Bookshare or other digital platforms
Request for Materials: Request materials such as core vocabulary boards, visuals, first-then boards, other printables or tangible materials (i.e: headphones, pencil grips)
