FUNDING FROM THE PFO:

PFO REIMBURSEMENT FORM (updated 10/29/26)

Please complete the reimbursement form and then email it to our PFO Treasurer: treasurer@taggallimorepfo.org 

• $600 Allotment per returning Classroom Teacher ($will return to 500 next year)

• $900 Allotment for Classroom Teachers new to Gallimore

• $300 Allotment for PE, Music, Art, Innovation Teacher (Total per special to be shared by teams if needed)

• $300 Resource Room, Teacher, MLL Teacher, Speech Teacher, Building Level Coach, Elementary Student Success Specialist

• $5 per student for field trips at all grade levels

NEW THIS YEAR:  Mini Grants. Our PFO will support classrooms by providing mini grants for an experience that you want to create for students or something new you want to try but it requires additional funding. The process for requesting these funds will be shared soon. In the meantime, please email Aimee and Zaina with your ideas and we can connect with the PFO about funding. 

FAQ Questions:

Here are some answers to common questions on the current PFO reimbursement policies as I believe they differ from the current district reimbursement policies: 

1.  Can I get reimbursed for sales tax? - Yes

However, please remember to deduct the sales tax from the total for any items on receipts that aren’t part of your reimbursement amount.  For example, if you purchased a book for home on the same receipt as books you purchased for the classroom, please deduct the amount for the book for personal use and the sales tax that item from the total to be reimbursed.

2.  Can I have items shipped to my home? - Yes

3.  Is there a time limit on turning in my receipts for reimbursement from the date listed on the receipt? - No

4.  What is the deadline for turning in receipts to the PFO for the school year? - May 31st.  However If there is an extenuating circumstance, please let us know and we can work with you.
