Tuesday MORNING IN-PERSON CLASSES

Program Details:

• Open to all levels, everyone is welcome!

• Drop-in program, start anytime

• Classes led by friendly volunteers in small groups

• Casual conversation on non-religious, non-political, topics of interest

In-Person Classes:

• Tuesdays & Thursdays: 10:30 A.M.— 12:00 P.M.

• Mondays: 6:30 P.M.— 8:00 P.M. 

Online Classes: 

• Mondays: 10:30-11:30 A.M. (All Levels)

• Thursdays: 7:00 P.M.—8:00 P.M. (Intermediate & Advanced)

The classes are free. They are intended for people who have a greencard and are preparing for their US Citizenship interview in English (which is most applicants).

SOAR says: Sign up for in-person classes on the first day of class; no pre-registration required. Bring your Green Card on the first day.

Pay only $28 (72% discount) for a monthly pass or get access to 50% off TriMet single-use tickets and day passes. Full details on program qualifications are on the TriMet site. Starting in July 2022 and for the next two years, TriMet will give every new and re-enrolling participant in our reduced fare program based on income a free, one-month pass [pdf].  Please contact TriMet if you have any questions about this program
