You get full credit for attendance if you are prepared for class and you participate for the full class period without distraction. Being prepared means having drafts ready to share, readings annotated, and other preparations complete before the start of class. If, for example, you did not finish the reading for that day, you did not fully prepare for class. However, you still have the option to listen in to peers, learn what they think, and participate in activities. That is, please come to class even if you didn't finish the assignment. Please see grading contract for more information about how attendance factors into your grade.
