I was born and raised in Washington County. The people of this area have shaped my life experiences and have therefore influenced my art. My art generally consists of things involving my environment whether that be art studies of places in Washington county or people from the area. Themes of nature are also common within my work. Some of my favorite medias are watercolor and digital art.

Retired Naturopathic Doctor becoming the artist I've always needed to be.
Part of my identity stems from the five years I spent in the 1970’s working as a reforestation worker. I lived outdoors and planted trees in the clearcuts of the national forest, BLM land, and on private timber company land. I love trees and grieve their loss. I value wild places and the creatures that inhabit them.
I'm a music and sonic arts student.
PCC Student, I enjoy creating art, conservation-clean water-clean air for all, & organic farms!
I am student in the Media & Sonic Arts Program, pursuing a certificate in Creative Coding & Immersive Tech. I am a queer, non-traditional, returning student, who also works for the WRC-SE and the NC-Sylvania. Climate grief is a feeling that I grapple with. On the one hand, I understand the old world has to die for the new to be born. And a lot about our current, old, patriarchal capitalist world is more than ready to go. Yet the suffering of the trees, animals and other living, sentient being (including minerals) often feels too much for me to bear.
I’m a continuing Ed student at PCC, and former part time instructor in ethics in addictions counseling.
My name is Precious Golden and I am finishing my first year at PCC. I'm a self-taught artist, and this term I am studying the history and impact of women in art. I am focusing on gender and disability studies, and I hope to have a career in disability services.
I'm a first year, first generation college student seeking ways to engage with my cohorts in the areas of biodiversity, social justice, ecology, sustainability and activism arts. After overcoming my years as a homeless youth and dealing with housing rights issues, I've really come to appreciate what I can learn about certain systems of oppression so that I can better understand what I went through. I have a lot to learn about climate change especially and so I am hoping to connect with others who are equally as concerned and want to make positive change in the world.
I’m from South Lake Tahoe, California, and am attending PCC in the hopes of working towards a career in environmental science. I love making art and have made it a personal goal to continue to take art classes while I pursue my degree.
