Level 3 Students write letters to friends about their lives in the US:
Dear Ein,
I hope you are well! I miss you so much!
I have been living in Beaverton for three months. I'm staying at my relative's place. I'm very busy every day, taking my daughter to school and swimming pool, cooking dinner, cleaning the room, and so on. I'm studying English in PCC, three mornings a week. My teacher is beautiful and experienced in teaching. I'm so lucky. I enjoy this life; it is fulfilling.
I like Portland because people are very friendly. Autumn is beautiful and the weather is comfortable. Even though it rains a lot in winter, it's OK!
How about you? Looking forward to your reply!
Best wishes,

Hi Maryam,
How are you? I miss you a lot, and I would like to tell you about my new life. You know moving was not easy, but we have to get used to it. Here is very cold and rainy and the people are not friendly but kind and helpful, and when we ask for something or we need help, they do a lot and want to be sure we are okay.
Now I am taking an English class three times a week. I am learning a lot of new things. I have to tell you we have a life routine. My husband is working, but I am not working. I got my driver's license. I am happy here and I miss my country and my family and friends. I hope to see you soon .
Best wishes,

Hello my friend,
I live in Beaverton, OR. This fall, I am staying in Beaverton. I am not moving anytime soon. I am taking a Level 3 class at PCC.
I am taking one class three times a week. It is a non credit English class. Learning English is very good for me. I like to learn a new world. I am happy in America because I have my family together.
My typical days are always normal. Sometimes I miss my country. I miss the culture, customs, and food of my country.
Sincerely,
Yajaira (Written by: Yajaira Cadenas)

I am enjoying my new life in America. I get up early, and I go to school three days a week. Gulin goes to work at PSU. Kerem goes to elementary school. Everything is good. I miss you and our country.

Hi Willver,
How are you? How is everything in Mexico? I want to tell you how my life is here in Oregon. I like this country. I don't think moving here is beautiful. You know what bro, I have a family now. I'm super happy now, also I'm going to school to learn more English. I take classes three times a week. Learning English is hard but is also fun. The life here is typical. You know that because you were here before. Every morning I go to school, work, and take care of my family. That's my routine, but I love to be here. I miss you, and I hope to see you soon.
Regards,
Felipe (Written by: Felipe Canul)
