The Plum Senior High School Counseling Department would like to welcome you to Naviance, which is an all inclusive college planning and career information program. We are excited as it provides you with detailed information on over 11,000 colleges and universities as well as over 1,500 career choices. Naviance will also serve as a communication tool between the student and counselor and help to keep parents informed about college planning choices and career decision-making.
Through Naviance, students embark on a journey that combines interests and assessment results with a wealth of career and college information to assist students in aligning their strengths and interests to postsecondary goals, improving student outcomes and connecting learning to life. Naviance is a customizable planning portal for students and families, including:

Goal-setting
College research tools
Course planning
Career exploration resources
Individual learning plans

Student Information
Students will log into the Clever app to access Naviance. Students will be automatically logged onto Naviance.

How to Access Naviance Scholarships:
Use Clever to Login to Naviance
Go to Colleges
Select Scholarships and Money
Then Scholarship List or Scholarship Match
Click on each Scholarship Name and jot down any that you qualify for along with their due dates. Use your list as a guide for next steps.
For Local Scholarships:
Click the next to Filter & select Local
Click on Scholarship Name to view eligibility requirements & download application.
Go back to the Scholarship list and check the box to the left of each scholarship you are applying to and click the + Add to My Applications on the top right side of your screen.
Click ADD SCHOLARSHIP banner. Please leave the $ Awarded field blank & Award Status field as unknown.
Complete the applications, request supporting letters of recommendation (in person) and request your transcript following the step
READ APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY! INCOMPLETE OR LATE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED
Key terms and what they mean:
Official Transcript – has signature, raised seal and is in a sealed envelope to be opened only by the receiving scholarship committee. All requests must be made via Naviance Student.
Unofficial/Electronic copy of Transcript – This is a copy of your transcript without signature or seal. Electronic (pdf) copies will be sent to your student email. All requests for transcripts (official, unofficial or electronic) must be made via Naviance Student.
Letters of Recommendation – Please be courteous! Letters should always be requested by the student in person far in advance of the deadline as possible.
