Read for a Life Time

Read for a Lifetime, sponsored by Jesse White, Secretary of State, the State Librarian, and the Illinois Center for Books, is a statewide reading program to target high school students and promote the enjoyment of reading by encouraging students to read both classic and contemporary literature, and rewarding them for their efforts.  

If you are interested in participating in Read for a Lifetime, please checkout the books on the list below, the display on the virtual library, and in the library for the qualifying books.  

Read 4 books to receive a certificate from Jesse White and the State Librarian as well as a gift card from the library.
