MEL Plan

The MEL Plan for the Future Skills Now (FSN) Project outlines a structured MEL Framework designed to track progress and guide adaptive management throughout implementation. The plan is built around key outcomes, including increased access to skills training for youth aged 18–28 and enhanced employability through demand-driven interventions. It includes well-defined indicators, such as youth enrollment in FSN training programs, completion rates, and verification of beneficiary selection and profiling.

The MEL framework incorporates a range of data sources and verification methods, including approved selection criteria, profiling forms, and signed beneficiary lists. Activities are aligned with specific program needs and involve key participants such as project staff and youth beneficiaries. Responsible parties, including the Project Manager and MEL Officers, are identified for each component, ensuring accountability. The plan emphasizes regular data collection, participatory feedback, and coordination between project teams and MEL specialists. This approach supports continuous learning, strategic decision-making, and evidence-based refinement of project interventions to ensure that FSN meets its goals of improving youth skills and employment readiness.
