YOUTH E-COALITION
OUR PURPOSE!
The original district goal, based on state requirements, was to reduce waste by 70% by 2021, this goal was met in 2019! The district formed a team to meet this goal, known as the Green Initiative, and has been working to form teams within ELP for 5 years now.
The Youth E-coalition is a student-led team that focuses on green and healthy choices for us and our environment. Consider our whole program as already being a environmental advocacy team , but the Youth E-Coalition is the team of student and staff leaders.
Let's leave our earth better than we found it!
WHAT WE'VE DONE!
Our Creekside Team has planted many fruits and vegetables they also were able to beautify one of the plant beds on the Creekside campus.
Our mission is to empower the community to proactively reduce our carbon footprint and participate in impactful environmental initiatives. Through education, advocacy, and action, we aim to foster a sustainable future for our community. We are dedicated to the preservation and protection of our environment for the benefit of future generations.
