School account—Also known as a G Suite for Education account.
In order to sign in to Google Classroom you need to use your school account username and password.
Be sure to use your full username. i.e. username@tpstuam.ie
On a Computer:
- Go to classroom.google.com
- Because you have used it already you should only have to sign in.
- Once signed in click on Room 9 2020 to enter our classroom.
- If you do not see room 9 2020 once you have signed in please send me a message on Class Dojo
On an Android Device:
- You must first download the Classroom App from the Google Play Store.
To learn more about downloading the Classroom app, see Get the Classroom app.
- Tap Classroom .
- Tap Get Started.
- Tap Add account OK.
- Enter your username and tap Next.
- Enter your password and tap Next.
- If there is a welcome message, read it and tap Accept.
- Read the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy and tap I agree.
- Tap I’m A Student.
- You should see Room 9 2020. If you have difficulty send me a message on Class Dojo
NB: If you are having trouble signing in on an android device it may be because another google account is already signed in to that device. If that is the case you should click on the three horizontal lines in the top left hand side of the app and add another account. Don't forget to use your full username, including @tpstuam.ie
Once the new account is added you should be able to log in to classroom without any difficulty.
On an iPhone or iPad:
- You must first download the classroom app. see the link above if you have difficulty.
- Tap Classroom .
- Tap Get Started.
- Tap Add account OK.
- Enter your username and tap Next.
- Enter your password and tap Next.
- If there is a welcome message, read it and tap Accept.
- Read the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy and tap I agree.
- Tap I’m A Student.
- (Optional) To receive Classroom notifications, tap Allow.
- You should see Room 9 2020. If you have difficulty send me a message on Class Dojo
