First, you can stop hurting, injuring or doing any harm to animals. Just because they don't speak human language means they should not be respectfully treated? Remember, treat animals, humans or anything the way you want to be treated. Would you like it if people throw stones at you just for walking towards them? Also, you could try not to litter and throw trash away in the proper bins.
