August/September

-8th Grade Virtual Parent Night info session

-Cristo Rey Information session at PATH (September)

-Students applying to Independent Schools can create Ravenna accounts

October/November

-PATH will take students on trips to visit independent schools

-Cristo Rey In-Person Open House

-Other schools will also have information sessions (look at calendar page)

-Applications open for other Independent schools

-Register and take the SSAT

December

-Cristo Rey applications due at end of first semester (includes teacher recommendations)

-Work on other independent school applications over holiday break

January/February

-Mock (practice) interviews at PATH for independent school applicants

-Independent school application deadlines in January. Financial Aid deadlines in January and February

-Dekalb School choice window opens. These are usually due in February or March

-DECA application process opens. Deadline in February

March/April

-Cristo Rey announces acceptances

-Independent schools announce acceptances

-inform other schools you applied to of your decision

-Financial Aid status is usually included in the acceptance, but it needs to be confirmed

May

-Graduation!
